The above videos are part of the branded content series "ONE", later re-branded as ‘THE FUTURE IS EXCITING’. The series was published in EL PAIS, produced by the creative agency WINK Transforming Through Digital and sponsored by VODAFONE. Ben Gordon of IDEAS in LIGHT directed and photographed the interviews, which were conducted by the journalists Zuberoa Marcos, Noelia Núñez, Azahara Mígel, Maruxa Ruiz, Pedro García Campos, Malu Barnuevo, Pedro Moneo and José Carlos Rodríguez
FREEDOM TO CREATE…
In the following six films, also part of One/The Future is Exciting for El Pais, Ben Gordon of IDEAS in LIGHT was given complete freedom to explore the format. He performed the roles of journalist, director and editor.
TECHFUN
More work for El País sponsored by Vodafone, TECHFUN was also produced by the creative agency Wink Transforming Through Digital and was presented by Natalia Sprenger & America Valenzuela. Ben Gordon directed the shoots, produced by the journalists Maruxa Ruiz, Noelia Núñez & Azahara Mígel.
TECHFUN - REMOTE
During the Covid lockdown, production of the series continued remotely, with all the interviews taking place via videocall. Ben Gordon worked as a director/DP alongside the journalist Noelia Núñez and the presenter Natalia Sprenger.
THE BUSINESS OBSERVATORY
EL OBSERVATORIO DE LA EMPRESA, also sponsored by Vodafone, followed a similar format to ONE, but with a focus on PYMs/small businesses. Ben Gordon directed the interviews, this time alongside journalists José Carlos Rodríguez, Rubén Ruiz and Iñaki de la Torre.
